Terms & Conditions

In recent years, websites have become the primary platform for providing information and services to the general public.

This website provides information regarding the activities of Keshet, an organization dedicated to promoting and making the world of philanthropy more accessible in Israel. The site features information on the DAF (Donor Advised Fund) model, donor services, professional content, philanthropic initiatives, and contact information.

Our goal in making this website accessible is to ensure equal opportunities in the digital space for individuals with diverse disabilities and those utilizing various assistive technologies.

Website Accessibility Adjustments

This website has been adapted in accordance with the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA, published by the international W3C organization.

The adjustments have been tested for compatibility with the most popular browsers: Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. For an optimal experience with screen-reading software, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA.

Key accessibility features implemented include:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Full support for navigating the site using only a keyboard.

  • Focus Visuals: A clear and prominent border appears when navigating elements via keyboard.

  • Color Contrast: High visual contrast between text and background colors.

  • Hierarchical Headers: Proper tagging of headings according to page structure and content.

  • Accessibility Plugin: Integration of a dedicated tool to enhance user experience.

Adjustments specifically for Screen Reader users:

  • Form Labels: Clear and descriptive labels for all fields in the contact forms.

  • Simple Language: Use of clear and simple language throughout all pages.

  • ARIA Attributes: Implementation of aria-label commands to optimize information for screen readers.

As part of our accessibility efforts, we have integrated the UserWay accessibility widget. This component allows for a customized and improved user experience.

We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome for the best experience with this widget. Users with outdated browsers may experience compatibility issues.
