A Year in Review

Letter from the Chair and CEO

2024 was undoubtedly one of the most challenging years in the history of Israel’s civil society. Despite these hard times, both nationally and internationally, Keshet realized its vision and solidified its status as a national asset for strengthening society and advancing philanthropy in Israel.

This year, we have witnessed significant achievements alongside critical moments that underscored the importance of our work – from supporting social welfare organizations to expanding donor networks in Israel and worldwide. We are proud to be part of the civic fabric of hope and generosity that strengthens the foundations of Israeli society.

The following report highlights a year of intensive activity, accomplishments, and a forward-focused outlook. Above all, it reflects our donor’s and partner’s generosity and dedication to building a stronger Israel.

We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported, invested, and believed in our mission.

With great respect,

Maya Liquornik, Keshet Chair
Maya Natan, Keshet CEO

The last quarter of 2023 marked a historic turning point, with an unprecedented volume of donations surpassing the total amount granted in assets throughout the year.

By the second quarter of 2024, a new trend emerged: many donors expanded their support beyond urgent needs, investing in new areas related to the war, as well as to their traditional core focus areas.

99% of Keshet donors continue to grow their personal giving funds over the years, making Keshet not just a convenient and professional tool but also a catalyst for philanthropic giving.

On average 30 new donors open accounts at Keshet each year.

Lior Krengel, CEO of Israeli Children's Fund:
“Keshet’s flexibility and creativity allowed us to focus on our primary mission and quickly establish a support system for 470 orphans from October 7. The combination of a smart financial platform and professional guidance enabled us to develop a long-term model that will support these children for the next 25 years. In addition, working with Keshet opened doors for us and created immediate trust with key organizations.”
